STEVEN L. KARAN

Steve is the founder and Managing Partner of Clarity Ventures.  He is a 1991 magna cum laude graduate of Harvard College and a 1997 graduate of Harvard Business School.  

He began his active investment career in 1998 as a Partner with the Investment Group of Santa Barbara, where he managed the Karan Fund for 13 years.  

Steve is also a pianist and songwriter.

JASON F. HUGHES

Jason Hughes is Clarity Ventures' COO and an Investment Partner.  He is a 1995 magna cum laude graduate of Vanderbilt University.

Jason has worked closely with Steve since beginning his investment career with the Investment Group of Santa Barbara in 1998.
